Monitor Point is a public private partnership between the Gotham Organization and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority that will create a mixed-use waterfront community at 40 Quay Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Monitor Point will generate significant civic and community benefits with a focus on mixed-income housing, attractive public open space, sustainable design, energy efficiency, employment opportunity, and economic mobility.

This is a new intergenerational mixed-income residential community featuring 900 rental homes plus new retail and commercial space in Greenpoint, including the new permanent home for the Greenpoint Monitor Museum.

The development plan includes a relocation of the existing NYCT Mobile Wash Unit to a new site, and a new facility for the MTA Emergency Recovery Unit.

Monitor Point will create a public waterfront connection between Williamsburg and Greenpoint, and additional open space adjacent to Bushwick Inlet Park, the nexus of the two vibrant communities.
